Grandmaster Haeng Soon Park

Grandmaster Park, an 8th Degree Black Belt and Korean national champion, launched the Park family's Tae Kwon Do tradition in Young Kwang, South Korea. He instilled in his sons a deep love for martial arts and a commitment to enhancing the physical, mental, and social aspects of life, a philosophy central to Shilla Warrior. After moving to the United States in 1986, he opened his first school in 1989 and became an influential figure in the U.S. Tae Kwon Do Union. His dedication led him to coach the 1994 U.S. National Tae Kwon Do and Collegiate teams. In 2004, he and his sons, Masters Steve and Sunny Park, opened Master Park's Black Belt America in Marlboro, NJ, where they took on leadership roles.
